WHERE: Lake Jennings is located just 20 miles from Downtown San Diego but feels like a world away. Our site (the "group" site) offers privacy and incredible views. LakeJennings.org for directions and/or more info.
WHEN: Check in after 2pm on Friday, check out is noon on Sunday. Once you reserve your site you can arrive/depart anytime within that time frame. For arrival/departure after 7pm you will need a code.
HOW: $20 per person confirms your reservation. Fee includes Camping on both nights, songwriting workshop with Dave Howard, wood, water and Smores. There is an additional fee of $2 for parking which is limited so carpooling is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
WHAT: Bring camping gear (tent, air mattress, bedding), food (grills provided, byo charcoal), soft drinks, coffee and *alcohol. Don't forget your musical instruments (acoustic only, no hand drums) and most important: a CAMP CHAIR.
ACTIVITIES: Scheduled stuff includes a songwriting workshop with Dave Howard at noon on Saturday under the cabana. At 6pm on Friday night we'll give everyone a song title for The Game which will be on Saturday night at 6pm. Songwriters can write/perform solo or choose a partner OR get in on the random partner draw which takes place at 6pm on Friday night. Other stuff to do: hiking, fishing, boat rentals, relaxing...
